Push the required operating knob to pop it in or out. Operating modes Here is an overview of the operating modes of your appliance. Bottom oven o Operating mode Used for 3 CircoTherm ® For baking and roasting on one or more levels A Defrost setting For gentle defrosting of pieces of meat, bread and delicate desserts % Top/bottom heat For baking and roasting on one level. Especially suitable for cakes with moist toppings (e. g. cheesecake) 0 CircoTherm intensive For frozen ready-made products and dishes which require a lot of heat from underneath. ( see section: Baking) e Bread-baking For baked goods which need to be baked at high temperatures $ Bottom heat For food and baked goods that should form a crust or need more browning on the underside. The NeffLight® consists of two halogen bulbs and a system of mirrors which help to brightly illuminate the cooking compartment. Door contact switch The NeffLight ® switches off when the appliance door is opened and on when the door is closed. Saving energy You can switch off the NeffLight ® in order to save energy. Turn the door contact switch clockwise. The NeffLight ® is switched off. Turn the door contact switch further clockwise. The NeffLight ® is switched on.
