ASC setup can be made when there is no disc in the product. . You cannot adjust the volume using the volume control buttons, because the volume level is fixed during the ASC setup. . If the auto sound microphone is disconnected during the ASC setup, the setup will be cancelled. . When ASC function is activated, the DSP/EQ, Dolby Pro Logic ll and P. BASS sound effects will not work. . If the product is connected to external devices or other components (such as AUX, D.IN), the ASC Setup may not work exactly. NOTE . The default setting of this function is HDMI Audio Off. . HDMI Audio is automatically down-mixed to 2ch for TV speakers. . When HDMI Audio is set to On, PL II /DSP EQ /P.BASS doesn't work. EQ Optimizer Set optimal EQ automatically depending on the region. • Off: Turn EQ Optimizer off. • On: Turn EQ Optimizer on. 32 English 03 Setup System Security Initial Setting By using the Initial Setting, you can set language, TV aspect and ASC(Auto Sound Calibration) setting. Check if the ASC microphone is connected to the product. .NOTE . If the HDMI cable is connected to the product, TV aspect does not appear and it is set to 16:9 Wide automatically.
