Electronic Filter Change Indicator (Smart PitchersOnly) 1 Pressfirmly and hold thestart button down for 5to 10seconds. 2 Asyou hold down thebutton, 4barswill appear in thedisplay,one after the other. Donot releasethe start button untilthe 4barsappear and start to flash. If you have difficulty pressingthe start button, acapped ballpoint pen maybe usedto pressthe button down. 3 Asmall flashingdot in the lower right corner of thedisplayshows the indicator isworking. 4 Every 2weeks abar automatically disappears. When only 1bar remains, makesure you have anew filter on hand. 5 After 2months (when all barshave disappeared), an arrow will flash at the top ofthe display remindingyou to change your filter.
