1. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of the main base unit in water or other liquids. 2. Close supervision is necessary when this or any appliance is used by or near children. 3. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before removing parts and before cleaning. 4. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or if the appliance has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest repair shop for examination or repair or send back to company as stated in this booklet in the warranty. 5. The appliance manufacturer does not recommend the use of any accessory attachments. This may cause injuries. 6. Never use an abrasive sponge or cloth on the unit. 7. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter top or touch hot surfaces. 8. DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven. 9. Use caution when moving this appliance when it contains liquids. 10. DO NOT use this appliance for other than its intended use. 11. A unit that is plugged into an outlet should not be left unattended. 12. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord. 13. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is indented to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. 14. Check the inside of the unit for presence of foreign objects prior to inserting the keg to ensure the keg is level and in position for tapping. This beer cooler and dispenser is equipped with both AC and DC capabilities so it is versatile and can be used indoors or outdoors - in the home, boat, RV or camper to serve beer anywhere, anytime! The sleek, chrome-laden design is visually attractive for your home or office and will take a limited amount of space on the counter. The unit is easy to use, and with a removable drip tray -easy to clean! The BEER CHILLER™ features a thermoelectric cooling system. This highly versatile unit is the only dispenser of its kind that is compatible with both the standard 5 Liter mini gravity kegs such as those used by COORS and pressurized kegs such as those used by HEINEKEN™. HOW TO USE YOUR BEER CHILLER™ It is recommended that after unpacking your BEER CHILLER™, you remove any packing debris and clean all parts. Wipe clean the inside of the unit with a non abrasive moist sponge or cloth. Dry with a non-abrasive dry towel. DO NOT submerge the main unit with motor base in water. The removable drip tray can be submerged in soapy water and rinsed off. SELECTING AC OR DC POWER The plug location for either AC or DC power is located at the bottom backside of the unit. Plug the power cord into the Left side if you are using AC power for home use. Plug the power cord into the Right side if using DC power for your boat or RV. 3 HOW TO USE YOUR BEER CHILLER™ (Continued) INSTRUCTIONS First, find a stable surface near an electrical outlet before starting. Make sure you have not blocked ventilation needed for proper running of the unit and that your cord is away from any water source. If needed, it is acceptable to use an extension cord. FOR BEST RESULTS, MAKE SURE YOUR 5 LITER KEG IS ICE COLD FROM THE FRIDGE OR HAS BEEN CHILLING FOR 12 HOURS IN THE BEER CHILLER™ TO INSURE BEST TASTE. USING PRESSURIZED™ 5 LITER KEG SUCH AS THOSE USED BY HEINEKEN tm. Open the large top lid on your BEER CHILLER™. Set the Keg down inside, so that the spigot extrudes through the small designed opening in the front top of the BEER CHILLER™ and close the lid.
