Never pull the cord. Connect the AC power cord to: • the AC~ MAINS socket on the unit. • the wall socket. Keep batteries away from heat, sunshine or fire. Never discard batteries in fire. •• Remove battery if it is exhausted or will not be used for a long time. •• Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should be disposed of properly. Note •• Batteries are not supplied with the accessories. 1 Open the battery compartment. 2 Insert 6 batteries (type: R14/ UM2/ C Cell) with correct polarity (+/-) as indicated. 3 Close the battery compartment. Listen to FM radio 5 Play options Note • Position the antenna as far as possible from TV,VCR or other radiation source. • For optimal reception, fully extend and adjust the position of the antenna. 1 Switch the source selector to FM. 2 Rotate - TUNING + to tune to an FM radio station. Play from an external device You can also listen to an external audio device through this unit. Pause/resume play During play, press to pause or resume play. » In CD mode, the LED indicator lights up when play is star ted, and blinks when play is paused. Repeat/shuffle play Repeat In CD mode, press repeatedly to select a repeat mode. • When the corresponding LED indicator blinks, the current track is played repeatedly. • When the corresponding LED indicator lights up, all tracks are played repeatedly. Shuffle In CD mode, press to play all tracks randomly. » The corresponding LED indicator lights up. Adjust volume During play, rotate - VOLUME + to adjust volume.
