Follow the wiring instructions carefully, or have the installation handled by an experienced technician. Connecting the Data Cable The 15-foot data cable connects the CD changer to the FM modulator. First, connect the rightangle connector end of the data cable to the 8-pin socket on the left side of the changer. Route the straight-connector end of the cable up to the car’s dashboard area near your existing car radio, and plug the data cable into the 8- pin mating socket labeled “TO CHANGER” on the FM modulator.
