Anleitung Zusammenfassung
Wenn sich der Mauszeiger über der SCSI-Kennziffer des DVD-RAM-Laufwerks befindet, erscheinen folgende Informationen: „Device Manufacturer: ‘MATSHITA’, Model of Device: PD-2 LF-D100“. O Adapter-Liste (SCSI-Schnittstelle) Klicken Sie zunächst auf El, um die SCSI-Schnittstelle auszuwählen. (Der an den Computer angeschlossene SCSI-Hostadapter erscheint in dieser Liste.) Klicken Sie dann auf G., um die SCSI-Kennziffer auszuwählen. (Der SCSi-Hostadapter wird rot hervorgehoben.) A Tippen Sie den gewünschten Volume-^ Namen für die DVD-RAM-Disc in das Eingabefeld „Volume Name“ ein. • Bei Wahl des UDF-Formats muß stets ein Volume-Name eingegeben werden. 0 Eingabefeld „Volume Name“ ■ Format FAT16 FAT 16 est un système de fichiers qui est incorporé au système d’exploitation Windows 95 et qui est utilisé pour les disques durs et les cartouches PD actuels. • Par rapport à UDF, il permet un bon accès aux petits fichiers aléatoires. 1 Insérer le DVD-RAM à formater dans le lecteur DVD-RAM. 2 Dans le menu Démarrer, sélectionner [Programmes]^ [Format UDF!]^ [Format UDF!]. L’utilitaire Format UDF! démarre. 3 Sélectionner le lecteur DVD-RAM qui contient le support DVD-RAM en sélectionnant son code d’identification (ID) SCSI: A. Dans la boîte combinée “Adapter”, sélectionner l’adaptateur hôte SCSI auquel le lecteur DVD-RAM est raccordé. B. Sélectionner l’ID correspondant au lecteur DVD-RAM. •L’ID SCSI du DVD-RAM est automatiquement sélectionné si c'est le seul périphérique raccordé à l’adaptateur hôte SCSI spécifié. •Si l’on amène le pointeur de la souris sur l’ID SCSI, l’information du périphérique correspondant s’affiche en bas de la boîte de dialogue Format UDF!. Lorsque le pointeur de la souris se trouve sur l'ID SCSI du DVD-RAM, l’information indique “Device Manufacturer: 'MATSHITA’, Model of Device: PD-2 LF-D100”. O Liste des “Adapter” (interface SCSI) Cliquer sur la zone El pour sélectionner l'interface SCSI. (L’adaptateur hôte SCSI raccordé à l’ordinateur personnel apparaît dans la liste.) When the dialog box at the right appears, select “Certification” on the “Options" line, then click [Format] button. This dialog box appears when inserting DVD-RAM disc. Select this when you want to physically reformat the disc. There is no need to do this every time. No Certification: This mode does not check sectors for defects. Instead, it allocates defective sectors previously registered during usage. Certification: This mode forces a check of all sectors for defects and allocates detected defective sectors to the spare area.
