Attach the wall holder to a suitable vertical surface with 2 screws. 10 Overview of models Safety Information A Risk of electric shock! Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the specifications on the rating plate. Do not use if the cord or appliance is damaged. Keep children away from the appliance. Do not allow persons (also children) with restricted physical sensory perception or mental abilities or with lack of experience and knowledge to operate the appliance unless they are supervised or have been instructed in the use of the appliance by somebody who is responsible for their safety. Liquids may splash during processing. Do not immerse the appliance in liquid above the blender foot-base unit connection point. Never immerse the gear attachment in liquid. Risk of injury from sharp bladeI rotating drive! Never grip the blade on the blender foot/universal cutter. Never clean the blender blade/cutter blade with just your hands. Use a brush. Take hold of the cutter blade by the plastic handle only. Operating the appliance A Caution! Do not attach or remove the blender foot, gear attachment or universal cutter attachment until the appliance is at a standstill. Important information If the appliance switches off during use, the overload protection device has been activated. • Switch off the appliance and pull out the mains plug. • Leave the appliance to cool down for 5 minutes. • Completely unwind the power cord. Blender foot For blending mayonnaise, sauces, drinks, baby food and for cutting onions, ice, cooked fruit and vegetables. The hand blender is not suitable for the preparation of mashed potatoes. Fig. 5 • Place the blender foot on the base unit and lock into position. • Insert the mains plug. • Put ingredients into the blender jug. • Set the required speed. Firmly hold the hand blender and jug. To prevent the ingredients from splashing, do not press the On button until the blender foot has been immersed in the ingredients.
