Oregon® 58/59 Super Guard® gives professional timber cutters who use .404”-pitch chains what they want: out- of-the-box sharpness, high performance, resistance to stretch, and consistency from chain to chain. These chains feature ramped depth gauges to reduce kickback energies, and are recommended for cutting clean wood with saws 4.0 cubic inches (65cc) and larger, and with bars 20" (50cm) and longer. Safety / ANSI: 58J, 58L, 59J, and 59L are yellow-label chains with kickback-reducing features. These chains do not meet the kickback requirements for low-kickback chains. Recommended Use: Professional use by loggers and forest firefighters who prefer large saws and .404”-pitch chain.
