Throughout the manual, safety warnings and cautions are identified by the “ “ symbol. Be sure to read and comply with all of the warnings and cautions. DANGER — Risk of electrical shock or electrocution. This pool pump must be installed by a licensed or certified electrician or a qualified pool serviceman in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes and ordinances. Improper installation will create an electrical hazard which could result in death or serious injury to pool users, installers, or others due to electrical shock, and may also cause damage to property. Always disconnect power to the pool pump at the circuit breaker before servicing the pump. Ensure that the disconnected circuit is locked out or properly tagged so that it cannot be switched on while you are working on the pump. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death to serviceman, pool users or others due to electric shock. WARNING —Hazardous Pressure! This pump produces high pressure. Air can enter the circulation system and become pressurized. Pressurized air can cause equipment lids (pump, filter, valves, etc.) to blow off. Always turn off the pump and relieve pressure before opening lids. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or d...
