Subwoofer On and Off SUB-W ON (Initial setting) / SUB-W OFF When the subwoofer is on, perform the steps below to adjust the subwoofer output phase and level. 1 Press the Rotary encoder repeatedly to select the SUB-W mode. SUB-W > BALANCE > FADER > DEFEAT > VOLUME > SUB-W 2 Press g or f. The subwoofer output phase is toggled SUB-W NORMAL (0°) or SUB-W REVERS (180°). To adjust the level, turn the Rotary encoder. Setting the Subwoofer Output (CDA-9815RB/CDA-9813R only) STEREO (Initial setting) / MONO You can set the subwoofer output to stereo or monoaural. Make sure to set the correct output for your subwoofer type. STEREO: Subwoofer stereo (L/R) output MONO: Subwoofer monaural output Sound (Beep) Guide Function BEEP ON (Initial setting) / BEEPOFF This function will give audible feedback with varying tones depending upon the button pressed. Visual Customizing Changing Lighting Colour (CDA-9813R only) AMBER ON/AMBER OFF (Initial setting) You can change the lighting colour on the front panel. AMBER ON: Amber colour AMBER OFF: Green colour Dimmer Control (CDA-9815RB/CDA-9813R/CDA-9812RX only) DIMMER AUTO (Initial setting) / DIMMER MANUAL Set the DIMMER control to AUTO to decrease the illumination brightness of the unit with the head lights of the vehicle ON.This mode is useful if you feel the unit's backlighting is too bright at night. Scroll Setting SCROLL AUTO / SCROLL MANUAL (Initial setting) This CD player can scroll the disc and track names recorded on CDTEXT discs, as well as the text information of MP3/WMA files, folder names, and tags. (This function can be used for CDA-9811R if a changer compatible with CD-Text is connected.) SCROLL AUTO : The CD text information, the text information of folder and file names, and the tags are scrolled automatically. SCROLL MANUAL : The display is scrolled only when a disc is loaded or when a track is changed, etc. • The unit scrolls CD text names, folder names, file names or tag display.
