Note You may encounter setup difficulties if the unit and the wireless LAN access point are located too far from each other. If you do, place the devices closer to each other. For details on the input values for the following procedures, refer to the operating manual of the respective device or the information provided by your Internet provider. 1 Press SETTINGS on the unit. Setting up a proxy server manually You may have to set up a proxy server, depending on the specifications of your Internet provider or the network settings. 1 Enter the Settings menu and select [Network setting] – [Manual setting] – [Proxy setting] – [On]. Specify the IP address and port number, and then press and hold ENTER. 2 When “Switch proxy settings.” appears, select [OK].
